COURT USAGE IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING:

COURT RULES

  1. Before commencing play, all players must report to the Caretaker to be allocated a court and enter name, membership number and commencement time in the Court Book. On weekends or if no Caretaker is in attendance both the Court Book and the Court Allocation Board must be completed before commencing play
  2. Each player must pay all fees necessary (refer Noticeboard) to the Caretaker before play commences. If the Caretaker is not in attendance, place in an envelope and deposit it in the money post outside the double doors.
  3. All players must wear appropriate tennis shoes and appropriate tennis clothing.
  4. Courts 1, 2 & 3 (en-tous-cas) must be bagged and watered before and after play.  Courts 4, 5 & 6 (artificial surface) must be bagged at the end of play.
    Check condition of court ahead of play.  En-tous-cas courts – do not play if court is too wet OR too dry OR has lost topping due to wind.  Artificial surface courts – do not play if court is too wet.
  5. Any complaints concerning behaviour of those using courts should be referred to the Caretaker or to a Committee Member.
  6. No dogs are permitted to remain inside the Clubhouse and must be restrained on a leash at all times within the Club’s grounds.
  7. During peak periods, non-members’ court hire is limited to one hour’s duration.
  8. If other members are waiting, time of play is restricted to one hour only. If time of commencement is not in the Court Book, the court must be vacated immediately if requested. When more than two members are waiting, it is expected that doubles be played. Singles players are to invite waiting members to play doubles at the completion of their current set.
  9. When the Caretaker is in attendance, adherence to the Court Rules is at the absolute discretion of the Caretaker.
  10. Children must be supervised to ensure compliance to these Rules.
  11. When crossing courts in use, please use the walk-way/viewing corridor.

  • Bookings from 6.00pm
  • During daylight savings bookings from 7.30pm
  • No bookings before the above times – (First come, first served. Refer to Court Rules)


COURT SCHEDULE

  • Changes to court schedule will depend on competition seasons and the coaching schedule for each school term.
  • Court allocation number may change if the situation warrants.
  • HDTA Mixed alternate with Men’s Pennant on “home and away” basis
  • Competition and coaching courts available for social play during seasonal comp breaks and school term breaks.
